I guess I will start with what it is and what it can do for you first. 5 Star Urgent Response from Great Call is a device that helps families stay safe and secure at all times where ever they go! At a touch of the button you are connected to a 5 Star Response Agent ,who are certified by the National Academies of Emergency Dispatch and trained in CPR and other emergency protocols. Not only can they identify you and determine your location but they can also conference in family or friends, help dispatch 9-1-1 emergency service, access a nurse, or provide any additional assistance needed.
Some things that I love about 5 Star Urgent Response:
- No matter how minor of a question or problem you have 5 Star Response Agents are there for you. Whether your walking alone to your car and just need someone to stay on the line with you or you come home to your front door being wide open 5 Star is there for you.
- Giving me a little more peace of mind when my son stays after school for activities. I know his cell phone is not always charged and it’s nice that all he has to do is hit the button for help. I also think this would be great for an older parent that is on their own who are hesistant to call 911 with concerns that they are having.
- Light weight and not bulky! It can easily be clipped onto your keychain, back pack or purse.
- One click of the button and you reach a 5 Star Agent to help. Press and hold down button and you call 911 directly. How simple is that?
- 5 Star is 100% USA based.
- Filling out your personal information so they have it on hand. I did mine online on their website but you can also fill out the form that comes with your gadget and mail it in. You can also fill in as much information as you feel comfortable with. I like that you can put your families information on there so they can be contacted if necessary and you can put any and all of your medical issues.

I like that I can purchase it at Wal*Mart.
My favorite features are the Urgent Response as a child locator with its included enhanced GPS tracking in case of emergency. I would love to have this for my 9 year old daughter, it would offer peace of mind. Thank you

I love that it’s a simple one button press to get help in any stituation wherever you’re at. It would definitely give me peace of mind to have this when traveling or staying alone!!!
I love the GPS capability because I am a 76 year old woman who still drives and like to go out as much as possible and I do things frequently alone. It’s comforting to know I am as close to help and family if necessary in an instant. Seven years ago while in a motel with my son, 3 men forced their way into our room to rob us. They smashed everything that would access our calling for help. Our bedside phone first, then our cell phones, then even my computer from my hands. Since then I want instant protection and I believe the GreatStar5 is the answer!
I like that it uses GPS to locate you & uses a reliable wireless network.
